Story(part 3)

I watched the 2 slowly walk out the room, full of guilt. Immediately, I raised my hand. “May I go to the bathroom?” Mrs. Johnson nodded. ” Do it quickly.” I nodded and followed Derrick and Kevin.

“Alex!” Derrick yelled in shock. The room broke silent. I heard footsteps coming toward our direction. I turned around in an instant. There I saw a large shadow, ” Alex, why are you following them?” A voice said. I didn’t have to see the face to know who was talking.

Story(part 2)

The next day, we were all at school in the first period, Math. Mrs Johnson asked. “Okay, can someone try this problem on the bo-” Her voice was broken by the voice on the intercom. “Derrick and Kevin, from Mrs Johnson’s class, please go to the principal’s office. Thank You.” The room turned dead silence. I knew that both of their mom’s are strict about getting in trouble.

Story (part 1)

I was walking back home from school, rain was pouring on me and my friends, Derrick, and Kevin. All I could hear was the rain hitting the ground and our jackets.

Earlier that day, Derrick and Kevin got into a fight during a basketball game. Derrick almost never passed and Kevin didn’t touch the ball on offense once. Kevin was infuriated so he and Derrick had a strife after the game. The coach found out and suspended the two for 10 games.

Are Video games bad?

Should Kids Play Video Games

Tons of people enjoy playing video games,I do but  too much isn’t good for you. Here are the effects from playing too long.

One reason kids should not spend too much time playing video games is that it can lead to health problems like memory  loss or eye damage

Playing too much video games can lead to health problems like memory loss or eye damage.Plenty of times it happened. Plus,if you really love the game you might keep thinking about it at school and rush, skip homework.Or not pay attention in class. Playing video games instead of important work for too long can be very bad for you.

Another reason kids should not spend too much time playing video games is that it can stop kids from doing important work like homework or go outside. Then, kids will get use to not doing the stuff they should be doing, like homework.According to the article Video gaming can have negative effects on kids’ brains and bodies by Margaret Buckler researches. That kids spend their time looking up video games on google instead of stuff like SSAT and play them more than usual.

My final reason kids should not spend too much time playing video games is that it can change your behavior. It can lead to aggression. Some people might act aggressive from playing with bad influences and take that behavior and act like the person.Or get angry from the game.

That’s why i think kids can play video games but not too much.I enjoy playing video games but too much isn’t good for you. Good job

Alone at Universal Studios(part 3)

“ Excuse me, do you know where Panda Exp-” I said incomprehensibly. The worker stopped me and asked. “Sorry, could you say it again?”

I took a deep breath. “Do you know where Panda Express is, my parents are there. I lost them.” Telling her made tears rain from my eyes. The worker nodded and told me.

“Come with me.” as she guided me to Panda Express. My heart slowed down and I followed her.

When we arrived, I instantly ran inside finding my parents at a table near the back. My tears stopped falling and my face started to become arid. My family noticed me as I was running over.

“Where have you been? ” My mom questioned, sighing in relief.

“I got distracted, so I lost you. ” I replied. My mom continued.

“Next time stay with us, we’ve been looking for you.” I nodded as I sat down. I also thought. “I’ve never been this happy with my family.”

After that moment, my parents came to an agreement to buy me a phone. I am happy since I got a phone, but also, I am more cautious when I’m in an immense crowd.

Alone at Universal Studios (part 2)

Plus, I was turning my head constantly, looking at the places around us, filling up with more excitement.

“After we eat, where do you want to go? “ I asked my brothers.

“I don’t know yet,” Bill said sounding annoyed. He continued. “We’ll find out later.” Soon, my family got close to Panda Express and was heading inside. But I had stopped following them since my eyes had caught a mini shop, selling many items. I stared at the store and the crowd there. I was curious about why dozens of people were there, so I walked over to check the shop out.

My eyes glowed, I was surprised by all the things there that I wanted: games, toys, and clothing. My eyes stared at the items as I listened to the shop owner talk about the items. This made me feel like I was in heaven. I wanted one of the items so I turned my head, trying to find my dad. My mouth dropped in shock. All I could see was a huge crowd full of unfamiliar faces behind me. My heart raced faster. Instantaneously, I looked for an opening in the crowd and squeezed my way out. But it panicked me more that it felt like me finding the edge of the crowd would be eternal. Desperately, I checked around trying to find my family. But then I had an idea. “I could look for Panda Express since my parents said we’re going there.”  I decided to ask a worker for where it is. But there were no workers in sight.  My heart raced even faster, my eyes began to water. Finally, my eyes caught a worker. I was relieved. I took a breath.
