“The Magic Tree house” is a book series that I loved reading when I was in around 2nd grade. The book is a fantasy and a historical fiction book that is fun reading because it is an adventure and talks about problems from the past.
The Pandemic
During this time, we don’t know how long this is going to last but hopefully not that long. For some reason, it’s been raining and I can’t go outside so I have to play basketball on a mini hoop. I miss playing basketball with my friends from school and parties.
I hope this won’t last too long because I want to play basketball regularly because if I keep playing on a mini hoop during this time, it won’t have the same effects.
The NBA Next Season
The NBA Next Season might happen but if it does, it will be very interesting. Some players don’t have a basketball hoop at their house so they can’t practice enough. Also, there’s young players that i’m excited to see play if the season does happen.
Adding on, there’s players who are coming back from injury and then the quarantine happens so they might not play like in their prime. NBA players also had a zoom call a while ago and most of them agreed to continuing the season even though it’s dangerous.
I want the season to continue but in like a private gym with no crowd to reduce to odds of getting the virus.
“4th Grade Rats”
“4th Grade Rats” is a book by Jerry Spinelli that I read because my friends gave good reviews on it. Its is about a boy who’s starting 4th grade but has issues with others. I like the book. It talks about being in 4th grade like being almost older than everyone at their school.
“Showtime”
“Showtime” is a book about the NBA in the 80’s and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers grew fans by how flashy they were like one of their players, Magic Johnson. The team also had Kareem which is another NBA legend and this made the fans love watching the Lakers. Also, the Lakers had a great rival in the Boston Celtics which the teams met in the finals often. This match up would lure fans by the intensity of their rivalry.
“Going to my first NBA Game”
My first ever NBA game I’ve ever went to was the Golden State Warriors vs the Sacramento Kings. The Game was fun to go to and I loved seeing the players I idolized and see them in person. It was a fun experience and hope to go to more NBA games.
It was way more fun than watching the game in person than on TV. In person, it is way more exciting and you can feel the energy through the crowd and the players.
“The Sixth Man: A Memoir”
“The Sixth Man: A Memoir” is a book by an NBA player named Andre Iguodala. He was a sixth man for the Golden State Warriors but still had a major impact on them. For example, in the 2015 finals, Andre didn’t make it easy for Lebron to score and Andre won finals MVP as a sixth man!
In the book he says, it doesn’t matter if you’re in the starting lineup or not, it just matters about doing your job and helping your team win. I look forward to finishing the book and read more books by professional basketball players to get their point of view.
“Crossover Summary”
“Crossover” is a poem-like book and the book is about twins named Josh and Jordan Bell. They both play basketball and the main character Josh, experiences tough obstacles. For example, his brother Jordan got a girlfriend and he’s been acting weird and this got Josh infuriated. Also, their dad who supports them throughout their basketball games has health problems.
“Spy School Revolution”
“Spy School Revolution” is a book in the Spy School series. I liked this one because it had a lot of action and suspense. I hope to find and read more books with the plot being an adventure and have cliff hangers. I like the Spy School series and I love books that always have action.
I look forward to finishing the series to see how it ends, and if everything turns out well.
Next Year
During the quarantine, i’m very curious about the things in the future like the NBA season, and school because of the corona virus. I am also sad that the corona virus might last as long as until summer and we’d have to stay home the whole season. Also, I was looking forward to playing on the basketball team and try out the jr nba league.
There’s been things I’ve looked forward to but because of the virus, we’d have to stay home.
