“The Sixth Man: A Memoir”

“The Sixth Man: A Memoir” is a book by an NBA player named Andre Iguodala. He was a sixth man for the Golden State Warriors but still had a major impact on them. For example, in the 2015 finals, Andre didn’t make it easy for Lebron to score and Andre won finals MVP as a sixth man!

In the book he says, it doesn’t matter if you’re in the starting lineup or not, it just matters about doing your job and helping your team win. I look forward to finishing the book and read more books by professional basketball players to get their point of view.

“Crossover Summary”

“Crossover” is a poem-like book and the book is about twins named Josh and Jordan Bell. They both play basketball and the main character Josh, experiences tough obstacles. For example, his brother Jordan got a girlfriend and he’s been acting weird and this got Josh infuriated. Also, their dad who supports them throughout their basketball games has health problems.

“Spy School Revolution”

“Spy School Revolution” is a book in the Spy School series. I liked this one because it had a lot of action and suspense. I hope to find and read more books with the plot being an adventure and have cliff hangers. I like the Spy School series and I love books that always have action.

I look forward to finishing the series to see how it ends, and if everything turns out well.

Next Year

During the quarantine, i’m very curious about the things in the future like the NBA season, and school because of the corona virus. I am also sad that the corona virus might last as long as until summer and we’d have to stay home the whole season. Also, I was looking forward to playing on the basketball team and try out the jr nba league.

There’s been things I’ve looked forward to but because of the virus, we’d have to stay home.

“Secrets According to Humphrey”

“Secrets According to Humphrey” was one of my favorite books and the Humphrey series was also one of my favorite series when I was younger. I liked the plot of each book and the series is about a hamsters life as a class pet.

I recommend this book and the series because it was one of my favorites all-time.

“When the Game was Ours”

“When the Game was Ours” is a book I’m currently reading that is about the rivalry that Larry Bird and Magic Johnson had that brought more fans to the NBA and was exciting to watch. Because of them the NBA grew more fans in the 80’s to now. They had a huge impact on the NBA and I wish I could watch more of when they played to see their rivalry.

Online-learning thoughts

It’s been about a month since all schools got closed and today I had to do a tic-tac-toe of tasks for science, math, and history. It was tiring but also half fun. I don’t know how long we will have to do online-learning for and it has pros and cons.

I hate that the NBA season is suspended and can’t go anywhere often.

“The Million Dollar shot”

“The Million Dollar shot” is a book I read and I loved it. I like the setting and the plot of the story because it has an impact. It is similar to and NBA Fan having a chance to win 1 million dollars if they make a certain shot.

“Hoops Full-Court Press”

“Hoops Full-Court Press” is a book I read by a WNBA Player named Elena Delle Donne”. I thought this was a good book and it was cool it was made by a professional basketball player. In this book the Dog Zobe has a big impact on the story and I would like to read more books like this.

“Hoot”

“Hoot” is a book i’ve read and I liked it. The author of this book is Carl Hiaasen who made other books similar to this one. “Hoot” also has a movie that I liked too. It has a great plot and I look forward to read his other books.
