“Showtime” is a book about the NBA in the 80’s and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers grew fans by how flashy they were like one of their players, Magic Johnson. The team also had Kareem which is another NBA legend and this made the fans love watching the Lakers. Also, the Lakers had a great rival in the Boston Celtics which the teams met in the finals often.
