Alone at Universal Studios (part 1)

It was a scorching hot summer day; my family and I were at Universal Studios. I was 7 years old at the time. For years, I’ve been irking my parents by asking for a phone.  I was always trying to persuade my parents to buy one. I used to always watch my brothers play games on their phone which I was eager to try.

“What ride are we going on now?” I asked eagerly. My dad turned his head back to me. “We’re not going on a ride,” he informed me.  “We’re going to look around for food.” I was famished from the hot day. I continuously had sweat running down, it was like rain was coming down from a cloud. My parents were checking the restaurants around us. “What do you want to eat?” my mom asked, turning her head back to us.  We were all silent but then Max, my brother mentioned.

“There’s Panda Express, “ pointing to the storefront across from us.

Bill, my oldest brother, and I looked at each other and nodded. Soon, we were heading to Panda Express.
